A Worship Experience is to set and maintain an atmosphere which invites and promotes the presence of the Lord. We strive to be thoroughly prepared while training and teaching those with God-given talents and abilities to develop a heart of praise and an attitude of worship! Scripture tells us that music and worship were blended magnificently at the dedication of Solomon's Temple. It was the duty of the instrumentalist and singers to make themselves heard in unison in praise and thanksgiving to the Lord. "So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of God." (II Chronicles 5:14) (KJV) There are many areas of involvement in the Music and Worship Experience at Lighthouse! These areas include the Adult Choir, Youth Choir, and Children's Choir, as well as Praise Singing and playing in the Praise Band.
